What you get
What a partner gets
Campaign posts published by the admins
Your creative goes out from the Housing Rocket admin team in every group you book, on the schedule you set. It never waits in the moderation queue and is never mistaken for a stranger's post.
Pinned placement
Campaign posts can be pinned to the top of each group for the length of the campaign, so every member who opens the group sees your message first.
A footprint you choose
Book one flagship group, a metro, a state, every college group, or the whole network. We build the group list with member counts before you commit.
A moderated audience
Every member profile is checked before it is approved and spam is removed daily, so you reach people who are actually looking for housing. 96% of members are in public groups your links can be shared from.
Reporting
You get the member count of every group at booking, post reach and engagement from Facebook's group insights while the campaign runs, and a summary when it ends.
One point of contact
One person handles your creative review, the posting schedule and questions from members in the groups, and can hold category exclusivity for your campaign window.
Partners
Who partners with us
Property managers and multifamily operators
Lease-ups, move-in specials and portfolio-wide campaigns across a metro or a state. Texas alone has 196 groups and 557,000 members; 670 of our groups are in the United States.
Universities and student housing
Off-campus housing offices, purpose-built student housing and campus services reach students where they already look for rooms: 349 campus groups with 1.8 million members.
Brands that serve people who are moving
Movers, storage, renters insurance, furniture, internet and utilities reach members in the weeks before a move, when they are choosing every one of those services.
Cities, nonprofits and tenant services
Housing counselling, rental assistance, tenant rights and public housing programmes reach renters in the groups where scams and bad listings would otherwise find them first.
Footprints
Pick your footprint
Campaigns are sized by the groups they run in. These are the usual starting points; any mix of groups works.
| Footprint | Reach | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| One flagship group | A single large city group, for example Boston with 110,000 members or Chicago with 103,000. | A lease-up, a grand opening or a local offer in one market. |
| A state | Every group in a state, for example Texas with 196 groups and 557,000 members, or California with 91 groups and 503,000 members. | Property managers, movers and services operating across several metros. |
| The college network | 349 campus housing groups with 1.8 million students, parents and alumni. | Student housing, universities, move-in season and back-to-school brands. |
| The city network | 352 city housing groups with 1.6 million members, including 8 groups over 50,000. | National brands that serve renters and people who are about to move. |
| The whole network | 775 groups, 3.6 million members, 50 countries. | Category exclusivity and campaigns that need to be everywhere at once. |
Every campaign is quoted individually. The quote depends on which groups you book, how many members they reach, how long the campaign runs and whether posts are pinned.

- We reply with a proposal: the group list with member counts, a posting and pinning schedule, and a quote.
- You approve the creative. We check it against the group rules and the Fair Housing Act before anything is published.
- We publish and pin on schedule from the admin team, and answer member questions under the posts.
- You receive reach and engagement figures during the campaign and a summary at the end.

Your goal, your markets, your dates and roughly what you want to post is enough for a proposal. This form is also the fastest way to reach our team about anything else on the site.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Everything a partner asks before booking a campaign.
- What is a Housing Rocket group partnership?
- A group partnership rents Housing Rocket's Facebook housing groups for a campaign. You choose the groups, from one flagship city group to all 775+ groups, and the Housing Rocket admin team publishes and pins your posts in them on an agreed schedule. Partnerships are for organisations that need to reach renters across many groups at once: property managers, universities, student housing providers, moving and home-services brands, and public agencies.
- How is a partnership different from promoting a business?
- A partnership is a managed campaign across many groups, published by the admin team and quoted per campaign. Promoting a business is self-serve: a local business buys a Verified Business plan at housingrocket.com/promote ($10 single post, $20 or $100 a month) and posts in its own town or campus group from its own profile. If you serve one town, start with Promote. If you need a metro, a state, every campus or the whole network, this is the page.
- How much does a group partnership cost?
- Every campaign is quoted individually. The quote depends on which groups you book, how many members they reach, how long the campaign runs and whether posts are pinned. Tell us your footprint and dates on the inquiry form and we will send a quote with the proposal.
- Which groups can a campaign run in?
- Any active Housing Rocket group. There are 775+ groups in 50 countries: 352 city groups, 349 college and university groups, 63 local community groups and 11 alumni groups. The 104 groups with 10,000 or more members hold 2.44 million people, 68% of the audience. The full list, with member counts, is at housingrocket.com/groups.
- What can a partner post?
- In housing groups, anything about housing or moving: listings, lease-up offers, move-in specials, student housing, moving and storage, renters insurance, furniture, utilities and internet, tenant services. In local community groups, anything a local organisation would tell its town. Housing posts must follow the Fair Housing Act. We do not publish multi-level marketing, crypto, lending or work-from-home offers, or anything that asks for a deposit before a viewing. We review every piece of creative before it goes out.
- How do you measure results?
- Before the campaign you get the member count of every booked group. During it you get post reach and engagement from Facebook's group insights, and we can add tracked links or a promo code so you can see responses on your side. At the end you get a summary across all groups.
- Can we be the only company in our category?
- Yes. Category exclusivity for your campaign window, in the groups you book, is available and is quoted with the proposal.
- How far ahead should we book?
- Tell us your dates as early as you can. Most campaigns can start once the creative is approved, but the campus groups are busiest in late summer and in January, and those windows are booked first.
- Is Housing Rocket affiliated with Facebook or Meta?
- No. Housing Rocket is an independent team that created and moderates these Facebook groups. Facebook and Meta are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Campaigns run inside the groups and follow Facebook's group rules.
