Why is my post still pending in a Facebook housing group?

Short answer
Your post is pending because the group reviews every post before it appears, and a moderator hasn't reached yours yet. In busy groups the regular queue can take a while, especially at peak moving times. Pending is not declined. The post is still waiting, and deleting and reposting it won't speed things up.
Post review keeps spam and fake listings out of the feed, but it means every post waits its turn. Queues get longest in the weeks before semesters start and around common lease start dates, when everyone posts at once.
While you wait:
- Check the post has a price, location and dates, since posts missing basics are declined when they are reviewed.
- Leave it in the queue rather than deleting and resubmitting it.
- Do not submit the same post again in the same group. The copy is a duplicate and gets removed.
