Is there a Facebook housing group for my university?

Short answer
Most large colleges and universities have at least one Facebook housing group where students post rooms, sublets and roommate searches. Search Facebook for your school's name plus "housing", pick the group with frequent recent posts and visible moderation, and read its rules before you join. Some groups are open to anyone, others only to students.
Many schools have several groups: an official one run by the school, class-year groups for incoming students, and independent housing groups. Pick the one that's active. A group full of identical posts with the same wording probably isn't moderated.

Many college housing groups also accept parents, local landlords and incoming or transfer students, since the group is about housing near the school. Check each group's rules for who may post listings and what a post must include, such as price, location and dates.
