Can I post the same listing in more than one housing group?

Short answer
Yes, in a few groups that cover the place's actual area, such as the city group and a nearby college group. What gets posts removed is copying the same listing into groups for many different cities, a common scam pattern. Post it once per group and let each group's review run its course.
A reasonable spread for one listing:
- The main housing group for the city.
- A neighborhood or suburb group, if one covers the address.
- The housing group for a nearby campus, if students are likely renters.
- A sublet or roommate group, if the listing fits it.
Tailor each version a little. A college group cares about walking distance to campus and semester dates. A city group cares more about transit and the full lease term. Posting only where the place genuinely fits also keeps your replies relevant.
Keep a note of every group you posted in. When the place is rented, go back and update or delete each copy, because stale copies keep drawing messages for weeks. Posting it once more in a group where it is already live counts as a duplicate, so update the existing post there instead.
