What should I include in a rental listing on Facebook?

Short answer
Include the monthly rent and what it covers, the type of place, the neighborhood or cross streets, the move-in date and lease length, and at least three real photos. Then add furnishing, pets, parking, laundry and who else lives there. Put the price, place and date in the first two lines, because members skim.
A first line that works: "FOR RENT: Private room in 3BR, Logan Square, $900/month incl. utilities, available Aug 1." A reader knows in five seconds whether to keep going.
Then answer the questions people would otherwise send you one by one:
- Lease terms: 12 months, month-to-month, or a fixed end date.
- Move-in costs: the deposit and first month, as dollar amounts.
- Utilities: included, split, or paid separately, with a rough monthly figure.
- Shared spaces: bathroom, kitchen, living room, and how many people share them.
- House rules: pets, smoking, guests, parking.
- How to reach you: comments or Messenger, with one preferred method.
