Should I put the price in my post or just say 'message for price'?

Short answer
Put the price in the post. Listings without a price get fewer serious replies, fill your inbox with 'how much?' messages, and are often declined by moderators because price is one of the basics. If the rent is negotiable, list a number and add 'negotiable', or give a range.
"Message for price" also reads as a warning sign. Scam listings often hide the price to pull people into private chats, so many members scroll straight past those posts.
Show the full cost, since surprises are what kill a deal at the viewing:
- Monthly rent, and whether utilities, internet or parking are included.
- The security deposit and any move-in fees, as dollar amounts.
- Anything recurring on top, such as a pet fee or a share of a cleaning service.
If the price depends on the lease length or the room, list each option, for example $950 for 12 months or $1,050 for the summer only. People can work out which option fits them before they message you, and you get fewer replies from people it will never suit.
