What photos should I put in a rental listing?

Short answer
Post at least three real photos you took yourself, ideally one of every space the renter will use: the bedroom or main room, kitchen, bathroom, living area and the building outside. Shoot in daylight with the lights on and tidy up first. Stock photos or pictures borrowed from another listing can get a post declined.
- Clear surfaces and put away laundry, dishes and anything personal, including mail with your address on it.
- Open the blinds, turn on every light and shoot during the day.
- Stand in a doorway or corner and hold the phone horizontally at chest height to show the whole room.
- Take the kitchen and bathroom from their best angle, since renters look at those closely.
- Add one photo of the building entrance or street, without the house number if you plan to share the address later.
Order matters. The feed shows only the first few photos, so lead with the room or unit being rented, then the shared spaces.
Skip heavy filters and wide-angle tricks that make a small room look big, and never reuse old photos that show different furniture or a renovation that has not happened. People notice at the viewing, and it costs you their trust. A short video walkthrough added to the post often does more than one more photo.
