Can I advertise my business in a housing group?

Short answer
Not as a regular post. City and college housing groups are for housing listings and searches, so ads for moving, cleaning, furniture or other services are removed. Small local businesses can reach members of Housing Rocket's community town groups through a paid Verified Business plan, and larger brands can book campaigns across many groups.
Housing groups keep strict topic rules because members join to find a place, and a feed full of ads buries the listings. Service ads from unverified accounts are also a common cover for scams, which is another reason moderators remove them.
The options that fit the rules:
- Small local businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs covered by the community town groups can apply for a Verified Business plan.
- Property managers, universities and brands running campaigns across many groups can book a campaign.
If you are simply selling your own furniture because you are moving out, that is not a business ad, but it is still off-topic in most housing groups. Facebook Marketplace is the better place for it. The same goes for a one-off request such as looking for movers: ask in a general local group rather than the housing feed, unless the rules say otherwise.
