What is Fast-Track Post Approval, and is it worth it?

Short answer
Fast-Track Post Approval is a one-time $7.50 option in Housing Rocket groups that gets your post reviewed within 1 to 2 hours instead of waiting in the regular queue. It's worth it when timing matters, such as a room opening this month or a sublet with fixed dates. It speeds up the review but doesn't guarantee approval.
Regular review in busy groups can take a while, and queues run longest before semesters start and around common move-in dates, which is exactly when listings need to be seen. A post that is missing basics or breaks the group rules is still declined on Fast-Track, just sooner.
Before paying, check that the post will pass:
- Rent as a number, with what it includes.
- The neighborhood or cross streets.
- The move-in date and lease length.
- Real photos of the place.
- No deposit or fee requested before a viewing.
